N202.1A
- Main features:
N202.1A is a mammary carcinoma clone derived from a HER-2/neu
transgenic mouse of FVB background (N#202 transgenic line).
N202.1A cells express high levels of surface HER-2/neu. The
expression of major histocompatibility complex class I
glycoproteins (H-2q) is low.
- Culture conditions:
- Medium: Dulbecco's MEM + 20% FCS.
- Split when confluent, split ratio 1:2 - 1:4. Wash twice the
monolayer with PBS, then detach cells with Trypsin-EDTA for 5' -
8' at 37°. Stop trypsin with DMEM+FCS and centrifuge.
- Freezing medium: 90% FCS (or NCS), 10% DMSO; cell density for
freezing: 4 vials from a confluent 25 cm² flask.
- Thawing: seed one 25 cm² flask from one vial.
